Join An Huynh & Sally Senger for a fall themed practice celebrating the elements of late fall and all it has to offer. We will nurture our tissues, our bodies, and souls with a gentle yin yoga practice paired with a breathwork journey in this colorful and cozy season.
The session will begin with a discussion about yin yoga and the beautiful, and sacred practice of breathwork. This will be followed by a 90 minute guided yoga and breathwork journey for those yearning for some stillness and release for the mind, body, and spirit.
Yin yoga is a still form of yoga which helps nourish and hydrate your connective tissues, soothe your nervous system, and cultivate resilience. It is the perfect compliment to your active lives and pursuits, giving you the allowance to slow down. We will guide you through an active breathwork technique to support you in moving out of the busy mind and into the body and heart as you access a state of relaxed consciousness. There will be a rest period where you will find rejuvenation and deep relaxation.
The breath is a gateway to the body and the nervous system and is a profound tool to create change and well-being in our lives, and we look forward to sharing this practice with you! We designed this experience for all ages and stages of yoga practice and breathwork, including those new to BOTH! Practice will be in community with others at the sacred and beautiful Bohemian Studios - West Seattle.
