Healing with Horses; a One-Day Retreat with Heather Roma-Wicks

  • Morongo Valley California United States (map)

Embark on a transformative journey at our Healing with Horses Women’s Retreat, where the natural beauty of Morongo Valley serves as the backdrop for deep personal growth and connection. The retreat is held on Heather's serene 5-acre ranch, with surrounding views of vast untouched Bureau of Land Management (BLM) landscapes.

This retreat offers a unique blend of yoga, equine therapy, and nature's healing touch, providing a safe space for women to connect, heal, and grow. Join us for a day where the wisdom of horses, the peace of the desert, and the power of community converge to nurture your soul.

Begin your day with a gentle yoga session aimed at awakening your body and aligning your chakras. This mindful practice fosters a deep connection with your physical self and the surrounding nature, setting a tone of tranquility and presence for the day.

Following yoga, gather at our opening circle for introductions and intentions, setting the stage for personal exploration and communal support.

Next, you will meet your equine guides in a horse introduction session. Here, you'll learn how to connect with horses in their natural, non-invasive way, practicing presence, calmness, and awareness. Horses, as intuitive beings, will help guide your day's journey, teaching lessons of trust, empathy, mutual respect and joy.

Enjoy a nourishing organic vegan lunch prepared with love, using fresh ingredients from local sources, to refuel and rejuvenate.

After lunch, we will engage in equine assisted grounding activities where you'll work alongside horses to explore personal insights and emotional healing. These activities are designed to foster grounding, mindfulness, and self-awareness.

Throughout the day, you're encouraged to use your journal for capturing reflections, insights, or any personal revelations that surface during your interactions.

We will conclude with a closing circle, where we will gather to share experiences, discuss what we've learned from our equine friends, and how we can carry these lessons forward into our lives.

Before we say good bye we will gather for a prepared snack by our private chef.
